Hi, I’m Lindsay Wells

I started LW Creative Studio because I kept watching great businesses get overlooked online. Sharp offer, incredible work, terrible digital presence. That's the problem I built this studio to solve.

You've built something worth paying attention to. This studio makes sure the internet agrees.

How I Got Here

Started at the Bottom (Literally) First job out of Marist: organizing PR closets, tracking sample pulls, drafting agendas nobody read. Unglamorous? Sure. But it's where I learned that the details are the work — and that doing them well is what earns the room.

Figured Out How to Tell a Story Spent the next few years on the lifestyle and apparel at a large NYC PR agency learning the craft — pitching editors, writing brand messaging, building relationships with press and influencers. Got really good at understanding what makes something worth covering. Turned out that skill transfers everywhere.

Became the Person Running the Room Promoted to Account Supervisor, then Account Director. Was managing a team of eight, leading client calls, directing cross-functional campaigns, and contributing to new business pitches — all before 30. The titles changed; the drive to make the work actually good never did.

Went Bigger (Then Had a Gut Feeling) Became an Account Director at a boutique NYC PR firm across travel, fashion, beauty, and spirits categories. Big clients, integrated campaigns, national coverage. And a quiet, persistent feeling that there was a more holistic way to help brands — one that went beyond press hits and touched how a brand actually looks, sounds, and connects with people.

Traded a Title for a Vision Left traditional PR and built Lindsay Wells Creative Studio from scratch. Took everything I knew about brand storytelling and added design, copy, and content to the toolkit. Turns out, being the person who can do all of it — strategy and execution, words and visuals — is exactly what most brands are missing.

The Extracurriculars That Actually Shape the Work Painter. Hiker. Content creator. Journaler. Chronic documentary watcher. Traveler who pays attention. The same instinct that notices when a room feels off is the one that notices when a brand does. Good taste isn't just a personality trait — it's a professional asset.

Here Now Working with founders, small businesses, and creators who are building something real and need a sharp marketing mind to help shape how it looks and sounds to the world. If that's you — let's talk.

When I’m not working, I’m probably…

  • listening to an album I’ve never heard before

  • designing (& redesigning) my apartment

  • trying out a new recipe from a cookbook

  • winging a DIY project

  • taking a nap

  • watching the latest documentary

  • enjoying the sunshine & touching grass
